GOD [ JESUS ] IS LOVE .

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

A part of you has grown in me.
And so you see, it's you and me
Together forever and never apart,
Maybe in distance, but never in heart.

My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep;
The more I give to thee
The more I have,
For both are infinite.

Since love grows within you, so beauty grows.
For love is the beauty of the soul.

Even though there may be times
It seems I'm far away
Never wonder where I am
'Cause I am always in you.

Love puts the fun in together,
The sad in apart,
The hope in tomorrow,
The joy in the heart.

All love that has not jesus for its base,
is like a mansion built upon the sand.

Sometimes we let affection,
go unspoken,
Sometimes we let our love
go unexpressed,
Sometimes we can't find words to tell
our feelings,
Especially towards those
we love the best

Love is sometimes denied, sometimes lost,
sometimes unrecognized, but in the end,
always found with no regrets,

forever valued and kept treasured.

Love knows no reasons,
love knows no lies.
Love defies all reasons,
love has no eyes.
But love is not blind,
love sees but doesn't mind.

In dreams and in love there are
no impossibilities.

Inside the heart of each and every one of us
there is a longing to be understood
by someone who really cares.
When a person is understood,
he or she can put up with
almost anything in the world.

Love grows by giving.
The love we give away
is the only love we keep.
The only way to retain love is to give it away.

Love is always bestowed as a gift --
freely, willingly, and without expectation....
We don't love to be loved; we love to love.

True love doesn't have a happy ending:
True love doesn't have an ending.

Love is an act of endless forgiveness
A tender look which becomes a need.

My heart to you is given:
Oh, do give yours to me;
We'll lock them up together,
And throw away the key.

From every human being
there rises a light that reaches
straight to heaven.
And when two souls that are destined
to be together find each other,
their streams of light flow together,
and a single brighter light goes forth
from their united being.

The greatest thing you'll ever learn
Is to love and be loved in return.

"Everything comes from love,
all is ordained for the salvation of man,
God does nothing without this goal in mind."

"Our Lord loves you and loves you tenderly;
and if He does not let you feel
the sweetness of His love,
it is to make you more humble
and abject in your own eyes."

"You learn to speak by speaking,
to study by studying, to run by running,
to work by working, and just so,
you learn to love by loving.
All those who think to learn
in any other way deceive themselves."

O my Luve's like a red, red rose
That's newly sprung in June!
O my Luve's like the melodie
That's sweetly play'd in tune!

Many waters cannot quench love,
neither can the floods drown it.

Immature love says
'I love you because I need you.'
Mature loves says
'I need you because I love you.'

If you have it [love],
you don't need to have anything else.
If you don't have it, it doesn't matter much
what else you have.

I seem to have loved you
in numberless forms,
numberless times, in life after life,
in age after age forever.

I have found the paradox that
if I love
until it hurts, then there is no hurt,
but only more love.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.

Come, let us take our fill of love
until the morning:
let us solace ourselves with loves.

And now here is my secret,
a very simple secret;
it is only with the heart that one can see rightly,
what is essential is invisible to the eye.

"Life is a flower of which love is the honey."

i carry your heart with me
i carry it in my heart

"Our Lord loves you and loves you tenderly;
and if He does not let you feel
the sweetness of His love,
it is to make you more humble
and abject in your own eyes."

"My director, Jesus,
does not teach me to count my acts,
but to do everything for love,
to refuse Him nothing,
to be pleased when He gives me a chance
to prove to Him that I love Him -
but all this in peace - in abandonment."

I love thee, as I love the calm
    Of sweet, star-lighted hours!
I love thee, as I love the balm
    Of early jes'mine flow'rs.
I love thee, as I love the last
    Rich smile of fading day,
Which lingereth, like the look we cast,
    On rapture pass'd away.
I love thee as I love the tone
    Of some soft-breathing flute
Whose soul is wak'd for me alone,
    When all beside is mute.

I love thee as I love the first
    Young violet of the spring;
Or the pale lily, April-nurs'd,
    To scented blossoming.
I love thee, as I love the full,
    Clear gushings of the song,
Which lonely--sad--and beautiful--
    At night-fall floats along,
Pour'd by the bul-bul forth to greet
    The hours of rest and dew;
When melody and moonlight meet
To blend their charm, and hue.
I love thee, as the glad bird loves
    The freedom of its wing,
On which delightedly it moves
    In wildest wandering.

I love thee as I love the swell,
And hush, of some low strain,
Which bringeth, by its gentle spell,
    The past to life again.
Such is the feeling which from thee
    Nought earthly can allure:
'Tis ever link'd to all I see
    Of gifted--high--and pure!

"Love is the most necessary of all virtues.

"Nobody has ever measured,
not even poets,
how much the heart can hold."

When you love you should not say,
"God is in my heart,"
but rather, "I am in the heart of God."

When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.

True love is when your heart
and your minds are saying the same thing.

In real love you want
the other person's good.
In romantic love you want
the other person.

I love thee, I love but thee
With a love that shall not die
Till the sun grows cold
And the stars grow old.

Love never claims, it ever gives.

If you have it [Love],
you don't need to have anything else,
and if you don't have it,
it doesn't matter much what else you have.

You can give without loving,
but you can never love without giving.

The arms of love encompass you with
your present,
your past, your future,
the arms of love gather you together.

Poetry spills from the cracks of
a broken heart,
but flows from one which is loved.

Love is a game
that two can play and both win.
